Located not far from city center, Mesjid Raya Medan, or usually known as Grand Mosque, is one of the most beautiful mosques in Medan, Indonesia. It was built by Sultan Ma’mum Al Rasyid Perkasa Alam, the ruler of Kingdom of Deli in 1906. It is used acitvely for Islamic worship. Due to its history and unique architecture, it becomes one of landmarks in Medan.
